Stashing Changes

Git stash is a tool that lets you stash the changes in a dirty working directory away. See Git’s documentation for more information.

Saving the stash

  1. Open a repository.
  2. Switch to the Status tab.
  3. Tap the box icon in the upper right hand corner.
  4. Tap the Save Stash button.
  5. Your local changes will be saved to the most recent stash.

Restoring the Stash

  1. Open a repository.
  2. Switch to the Status tab.
  3. Tap the box icon in the upper right hand corner.
  4. Tap the Pop Stash button.
  5. Your local directory will be saved to the most recent stash.

Viewing the Stash

  1. Open a repository.
  2. Switch to the Status tab.
  3. Tap the box icon in the upper right hand corner.
  4. Tap the View Stash List button.
  5. Your local directory will be saved to the most recent stash.
